Scott Conklin is a longstanding government and political leader in Central Pennsylvania and Harrisburg. He currently serves as the State Representative for the 77th Legislative District (Centre County), Democratic Chair of the House State Government Committee, Treasurer of the Legislative Budget & Finance Committee, Treasurer of the Pennsylvania Democratic Party, and Co-chair of the PennAG Democrats. Prior to holding office in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, Conklin served as a Centre County Commissioner for 7 years, where his financial stewardship earned the county earning its highest financial rating in its history. 

In his Leadership role on the House State Government Committee, Representative Conklin worked fervently to fight for and subsequently secure fair legislative districts for all Pennsylvanians. He has also been a longtime champion for working families, environmental protections, domestic/sexual abuse survivors, public education, and overall good governance.
